Hi, my name is Sankalp, I am an Machine Learning enthusiast, researcher and developer.

I am an undergraduate studying at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India (Institute of National Importance) pursuing (2018-2022) Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering. At present I am a contributor to Machine Learning and Optimization Laboratory at EPFL, Lussane, Switzerland.

My interests lie in using Machine Learning and cutting-edge technologies for social good. I am fascinated by Artificial Intelligence and it's potentially ubiquitous use in making lives better for the under-served communities. My core Interests lie in Deep Reinforcement Learning and Quantitative Analysis.

My previuos research experiences: at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad(CSE Dept) guided by Professor Vineeth N Balasubramanian in Self-Supervised Machine Learning, and working as research intern under Professor Edgar Alves (University of Aveiro, Portugal) in Reinforcement Learning, holds me in good stead in the future as I move towards my long-term endeavor to contribute to research.

Also, I am very fond of Graphic Designing, I love to create digital art and play around with my creativity to share my knowledge in a visualized manner, apart from these I am a professional Athelete(Javelin throw and 110m Hurdles), you will ususally find me training on the field in my free time and beatboxing ocassionally. I am eager to meet and connect with new people at hackathons, developers’ conferences, dev-fests, meet ups, and sports meet.

I enjoy contributing to and being part of a motivated team of smart people exploring cutting edge technologies and budding research ideas. Let’s connect if you want to collab something awesome in the world of Machine Learning. Follow the social media links given below or drop an e-mail here.
